I sonds like the IP that is being assigned to you PC is already used by another C on the network. i ran it by double clicking it from downloads and via when opened after download. In any case, i hope Apple will come up with a solution soon. This is ridiculous! They're development servers, and I have to connect to them from another PC. Rather it will also zero in without any problem.
On a computer that works and the one that doesn't, can you run the following command and post the results here? As the matter of fact, I have no problem for wifi at all since I bought my first ever laptop of MBA. The wireless device is a Linksys 610N, but its set to 2.4GHz since the iPad can't do Wireless N.What can I try to resolve this? Im not too sure whether a DHCP server will assign an IP that is alreaady in use by another PC with fixed IP or whether it will skip to the next
Go into Device Manager, right click on the adapter and choose Properties. I have recently upgraded to the new BT Infinity and don't have a problem with speed, whether it be sync speed or actual dowload speed, i always achieve over 31mbps download On a Linksys router, this information is located in the "Status" tab. All other routers should be similar. The only time I do not have this problem is when I am connected to a apple airport extreme.

I cant remember if this has always been the case just before the problem arose. My fiance and I are using the same router - his PC has never lost signal while I'm forced to perform a hard restart every 10 minutes or so. Credentials confirmed by a Fortune 500 verification firm.

Also, try a wireless sniffer like iStumbler to see what channels other nearby networks are using. Static IP Addresses If you don’t have the option to configure DHCP, or just need your PC to keep its IP for a limited amount of time, setting a static IP Any other router my MBA loses connection within 5 minutes.
