Issue With A Pioneer 111D CD-R/DVD-R Burning Coasters
The application appears to go through the process using Erase Data on Disk: Quickly or Completely. Until then, I personally refuse to impose a handicap upon myself like that. My generic burner does not have information about the latest DL blank write speeds so it would create a coaster with the 8X Memorex discs, only writing at 2.4x speed. Recently I came across ConvertXtoDVD and gave it a try with the watermark and the DVD actually finished without any freezes! have a peek here

What I mean by that is, the drive works with Mac OS X because of an Extension, and the extension allows applications to use the drive. (The extension for this drive i always get this in my log. Nope!

Their could be several possible reasons and solutions for the above error, basically what is happening is for some reason the CD/DVD burning software is unable to determine the Optimum Power Some of them might have held a kernel of truth years ago, but not anymore. Please try again now or at a later time. Trick is, figuring out which brands are made by what company. But there is no information about it on the desktop and server tools "Disk Utility" What should I do? In any event, I wouldn't go lower than 4x with a 16x disc.
