that is a bug of windows 7 and creative hardware I think because my old system recognize it but not with the logitech system i hope that will do for u I even installed this which doesn't help my issue. The only way I could get it to work was by installing from the included CD that came in the box with the hardware, which worked right away without issue. Uninstall any onboard sound driver you find in Add and Remove Programs (in Control Panel). It doesn't have to be new, just the last one they published whenever that was.

But it seems like after having to uninstall my sound card from device manager; doing a scan for hardware changes and reinstalling it; then rebooting; now I have no sound again. You have to uninstall it first if it says the driver is up to date.
