Issue is mouse and keyboard are unresponsive, so no ability to login to do anything further. I was unable to uninstall or even reinstall the Intellipoint Drviers. SATA cables are usually pretty cheap (<$5). Note Drive is the drive letter of the computer's DVD drive. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post.
Keyboard (USB) worked in Bios, but not responsive at all at the login screen. I have a Dell desktop with a wired keyboard. A few things I learned: 1. My keyboard and mouse do not work when I get to the windows xp login screen (or in once windows loads if I bypass the login screen). I have also tried a Logitech Y-RJ20 combo (Ps/2 keyboard, and USB mouse) ASUS P867LE Motherboard with i7-2600k CPU. 8 GB RAM Samsung SSD Drive on non-working partition Maxtor 320gb Drive As I've checked several different Web sites, it seems that many people are experiencing the same problem.
