If you convert the disk(s) to dynamic you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s) (except the current boot volume. I'm afraid to try to find a Win 7 disk to repair the boot for 7 because some folks have stated it breaks both instances. But if we 1st install older versions of Windows then install newer version there is no probes in the boot process.
