I used the Sysinternals Process Monitor tool to confirm that Unity.exe tries to access the redirected Appdata folder w/o success. We recommend upgrading to the latest Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox. That's when I began getting the error code 1606 message as did SR84 and the program features would not allow me to uninstall the Adobe 9.0 application.
